What is "tekois"?
"Tekois", meaning "wealth" and pronounced "tekoh-eyes", is the form of currency used in Utur-Vyta, and you can use it to buy items from Kelda's shop! Tekois are sometimes just called "tek"(pronounced the same as "tech") for short.
How to Earn Tekois
The primary way of earning tekois is by posting and staying active. Here's the details. Amounts may get adjusted over time.
-In certain boards, you earn tek for replies, posting a thread, and quick replies.
--The boards/sub-boards are: OCC Chat(Gathering Field), Prides, Clans(Clan Territories), RP Threads(Adventure Awaits!)
--You gain 15 tek per reply/thread posted, but only 10 tek for quick replies.
Other ways to earn tek!
-There's a "Daily Spin" wheel you can find the tab for under on your profile. You may spin it once for free each day.
--Prizes range from 50 to 250 tek. This may be tweaked a bit.
-Official "missions" and events may reward you with tek!
-Trading with other members. ("Donations" is default the plugin called it, but we've renamed it "Transfers". This is how you trade tek with other members.)
-Ranking up will reward you with 500 tek!
-"Refunding" items you have. You can sell items(or most items that is) back to Kelda. She's rather generous and will give you 60% of its value back! (The default the plugin wanted it at was 40% or 50% I believe.)
--To do this, just go to your profile, click on the item, and then when its window pops up, find the "Refund" button!
What is the Stash For?
The Stash is your bank, basically a place where you can store tek you might want to save for later. You'll notice it has an "interest rate", but it has been set to 0% interest, unfortunately. The interest rate doesn't seem to work if decimal points are turned off for currency, which there are as it doesn't really make much sense to have such a thing for the purpose of ERRA. If I can figure out how to make it work properly, an interest rate may be implemented in the future.
Also, any rewards from events/missions should be paid into your bank, since a record of transactions and staff edits is there, which can help confirm whether or not you received the proper amount.
