Etahoro's Realm RP and Adopts(ERRA for short) is a forum based adoptables site with role playing, both official and unofficial, based around Terra Fera's Ketep, Ketio, and Ketzateri species, in a land known as "Utur-Vyta", Mother's Dream.



Unlike many of my previous attempts to find the right balance between RP and adoptables in a Terra Fera setting, ERRA is more based around the adoptables, with a set up for RPing that will be dependent on the players rather than dictated by events and missions. There will still be official "missions" and events, where players can earn "tekois", the game currency, or items to help them gain more adoptables or improve their existing adoptables.



These adoptables will be breedable, through the purchase of a "breeding token". Breeding requests will then be processed by hand by approved staff members.



As mentioned before, players will be able to earn tekois, "tek" for short, to buy items for breeding, improving characters, or even creating characters. This is done by remaining active and posting in the RP sections of the forum. They can also gain it through "ranking up"(basic forum feature), through a wages system(based on total post count of player), and possibly some mini-games of sorts(there is a daily spin as of right now).



Adoptables will have premade character bases, markings, and colors, to allow for easy building and breeding of adoptables for staff, since this will all have to be done by hand.



The point of ERRA will be to set up adoptables that can be earned, but are essentially free(i.e. no real money involved in any of this. Yeah, you heard me, I'm doing this completely for nothing ^^), and giving owners a nice place to RP with their characters as well. I'm going to avoid making the RP workings complicated, as I had done with past attempts at something similar, so no character stats(for the most part), and complicated RPG style mechanics. Just good old forum based RPing!

Starting Out

As it is now, starting out will work something like this. First off, you'll want to read the welcome PM, which will have an RP introduction, as well as a more formal welcome with links to helpful guides and tips for starting out. You'll then want to head to the thread for creating your first character, which will be for the most part custom. Once approved, you can then start joining in on RPs and events/missions.



How am I doing all this?

On Proboards forums, which is the free forum host I am using for this, there are a lot of very amazing and helpful plugins that allow for such things. The monetary system and item shop is handled by said plugins, for example.



Full List of Planned Features

-A breeding process that can easily(/hopefully easily) be handled by staff.

-An item shop with special items, breeding items, and Character Tokens(for creating characters).

-A hybrid breeding system.

-Full character bases for all species/races/hybrids.

-Official quests/missions/events for players to earn rewards or adoptables.

-A character rank system within "clans".

-Player "Prides" for RP, breeding, or other types of groups.

-Private "Prides" that can be "upgraded" to for a private group and sub-board of their own!

-A "training" system of sorts, which will allows for characters to enter in specific missions/events/quests. -A place where your characters can pray to the Ket gods of old, in hopes they might be heard and rewarded. (Currently debating between a random chance system or a "divine favor" based system.)
